[ARCHIVED] Police Seeking Help After 14-Year-Old Struck by Two Cars in Hit-and-Run

The Charleston Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspects from a James Island hit-and-run. 

The Charleston Police Department is seeking information regarding a hit-and-run collision that occurred on October 8, 2025, shortly after midnight on Dills Bluff Road near Darwin Street. The collision involved a 14-year-old bicyclist who was struck by two vehicles, both of which fled the scene traveling south on Dills Bluff Road.

Investigators believe one of the suspect vehicles may be a dark gray 1998–1999 Nissan Altima or a dark gray 2006–2009 Infiniti. The vehicle may also be missing its passenger-side mirror. The vehicles shown in the accompanying images are similar in appearance to the suspect vehicle.
