[ARCHIVED] Police Investigating West Ashley Shooting

MediaRelease18

The Charleston Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two hospitalized.

Shortly after midnight on November 13, 2024, a suspect shot a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old inside the BlueWater gas station at 2493 Savannah Highway. The suspect fled before officers arrived. Both victims were transported to a local hospital; one is in stable condition with serious injuries, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are actively investigating, and preliminary information suggests this was not a random act of violence.

This is an active investigation. We are asking that anyone with information related to this incident contact the Charleston Police Department at 843-720-2422 and request to speak with the on-duty detective or submit a tip at:  https://charlestonpd.fususvault.com/tips
