[ARCHIVED] Charleston Police Investigating Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Collision on Seven Farms Drive

The Charleston Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating a fatal collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle which took place on October 24, 2024, around 11:30 p.m. on Seven Farms Drive near Pier View Street.

Officers determined that the pedestrian entered the roadway in the 200 block of Seven Farms Drive. While doing so, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The driver remained on scene. 

The accident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased. Anyone with information that may be pertinent to the investigation is asked to contact the Charleston Police Department Traffic Unit at (843) 965-4084.

This incident brings the total number of fatal traffic-related collisions investigated by the Charleston Police Department to 9 as of October 25, 2024.
