We’ve all seen the devastation in Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. The rebuilding process will take time—weeks, months, and in some areas, years. In response, countless people have stepped up to help, and our officers are doing the same.
At the request of Henderson County, Buncombe County, and Fairview (NC) community partners, our officers will be deployed to the area from October 7th through October 17th to assist with recovery efforts, including security at distribution centers, fuel escorts, and public safety around critical infrastructure.
To support these efforts, we’re accepting relief donations at our Headquarters through October 11th for our “Pack the Trailer” initiative. All donations will be directly delivered when our officers are on-site. Baby supplies and formula are especially needed, along with other essential items, such as:
In addition, we are collecting items to support the first responders in North Carolina, including:
- Baby formula, diapers, wipes
- Personal hygiene products
- Water and non-perishable food
- First aid kits and medical supplies
- Work gloves, protective gear, and portable phone chargers
- Bottled water and energy drinks
- Protein bars or other quick snacks
- Flashlights and batteries
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
