[ARCHIVED] Building Repair and Street Detour Schedule for 288 King Street
The owners of 288 King Street will be performing needed repairs from Monday, March 25 to Friday, March 29, which will necessitate nighttime street closures on King Street between Society and Wentworth Streets.
The contractor has agreed to cease all loud construction work by 10 p.m. each night.
Monday, March 25, the street will be closed from 7 a.m. to midnight. From Tuesday, March 26 through Friday, March 29, the closure will take place between 4 p.m. and midnight.
Detour and road closure signs will be in place to reroute pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
The sidewalk and one lane of traffic in front of 288 King Street have been closed to protect public safety since April 11, 2017, when structural problems with the building's facade were discovered. Repair and restoration work has been underway since that time.
