The city of Charleston’s Department of Traffic and Transportation will implement a scheduled single-lane closure on Maybank Highway at the entrance to the Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon. The closure will affect the eastbound direction of travel.
This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate repairs to wiring associated with the golf cart crossing's advanced warning signals. Crews will be working to ensure the continued safety and proper operation of the warning system, which alerts motorists to golf cart activity in the area.
