The City of Charleston offices will be closed Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
City Services on Independence Day:
Public Service:
- Peninsula, Inner West Ashley, James Island (City Crews)
- Collection will run on a normal schedule.
- Johns Island & Outer West Ashley (Trident Waste)
- Collection will run on a normal schedule until Friday, July 4th. The rest of the week will be on a one-day delay, finishing on Saturday., July 12th.
- Daniel Island & Cainhoy (Trident Waste)
- Collection will run on a normal schedule.
Recreation:
- The Municipal Golf Course will remain open on Friday, July 4th.
- All tennis centers, pools, and other recreation facilities besides the Municipal Golf Course will be closed.
City Offices:
- All City Offices will be closed on Friday, July 4th.
