CITY OF CHARLESTON OFFICES CLOSE MONDAY, MAY 27 IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY
CHARLESTON, S.C. – MAY 23, 2024– The City of Charleston offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, a federally recognized holiday to honor and mourn the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
City Services on Memorial Day:
Public Service:
- Garbage and trash routes will be on a one day delay the week of the 27th.
Recreation:
- The Municipal Golf Course will remain open on Monday, the 27th.
- All tennis centers, pools, and other recreation facilities besides the Municipal Golf Course will be closed.
City Offices:
- All City Offices will be closed Monday, the 27th.
