The Charleston Police Department is requesting assistance in locating a suspect involved in a West Ashley shooting.
On September 4, 2024, at around 7:30 p.m. Buxton Laing Daniel Jr. reportedly shot a member of his family in a West Ashley apartment complex that is located on Coastal Grass Way. Daniel is currently wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Daniel was last seen on foot in the area of Bees Ferry Road and Sanders Road. If you see Daniel, call 911 immediately and do not approach him.
