The Charleston Police Department has arrested an individual responsible for a shooting that took place August 1, 2024, near the intersection of Central Park Road and Fleming Road.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving shots being fired. The victim reported being in a verbal altercation with the armed suspect when the suspect threatened to kill the victim. The victim fled on foot as the suspect fired his gun, however, no one was injured during the shooting.
Following the investigation, Cameron Brisbane (24, of Charleston) is charged with attempted murder, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. He was arrested August 1, 2024, and is currently in custody at the Al Cannon Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
