The Charleston Police Department has released a Critical Incident Briefing Video regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on November 21, 2024, at 653 King Street.
The video is intended to provide the public with a clear understanding of the incident by sharing key information, including 911 calls, radio traffic, maps, and body-worn camera footage. It also affirms that the involved officers acted in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures. Following a thorough independent investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and a full review by the Solicitor’s Office, the officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.
