Specialty street name signs (PDF) adorn many neighborhoods throughout the city. The specially designed signs include the street name along with neighborhood name. The Neighborhood Specialty Street-Name Sign Program was established in response to neighborhoods requesting more decorative street name signs, that also included the neighborhood's name, to distinguish their neighborhood.
The city's design specialist works with city neighborhoods to develop sign designs. Designs may include decorative borders, lettering, color, or a special image. The city's Design Review Committee reviews and approves all specialty street name signs. Following approval, the neighborhood will be charged $11 per sign for fabrication and installation.
