The City of Charleston has extended the application deadline for the 2025 Holiday Parade of Boats to 4:00 p.m. on December 7, giving boaters extra time to sign up and take part in one of the Lowcountry’s most cherished holiday traditions. Residents and visitors are invited to line the waterfront and enjoy the dazzling procession as brightly lit boats illuminate Charleston Harbor.

Local boat owners interested in decking out their vessels and displaying them in the annual holiday parade.
WHAT:
The 2025 Holiday Parade of Boats, a display of lighted and festive boats proceeds from the Cooper River, through the Charleston Harbor and into the Ashley River.
WHEN:
Parade: Saturday, December 13, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Application Deadline: December 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., APPLY HERE.
WHERE:
Charleston Harbor – the parade will travel from the Cooper River, through the Charleston Harbor, and into the Ashley River. View the procession along Charleston’s waterfront at The Battery or in Mt. Pleasant at Patriots Point.
