The City of Charleston is pleased to announce a free virtual workshop, "Are You Ready to Borrow?" scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This workshop is designed to equip small business owners with the essential knowledge needed to successfully access capital. Participants will learn how to navigate the borrowing process and prepare for productive conversations with financial institutions.
The session will also serve as a key preparatory step for the upcoming Lender Matchmaking Event on August 8, 2025, where business owners will have the opportunity to connect directly with potential lenders.
Topics will include:
- Organizing financial documents
- Understanding different types of business loans
- Presenting a compelling case to lenders
Attendees will gain valuable insights into what lenders look for and how to strengthen their loan applications.
