1. What is the process for planning an event in one of the City of Charleston's Parks (ie: Wedding, Birthday, Reunion)?

The Department of Recreation is responsible for programming and permitting all events. In order to properly plan an event a permit is required. The cost of the permit depends on the complexity of the event. All permit applications must be submitted to: 823 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
