  1. The ECO-Auction: Silent Auction Fundraiser

    June 21, 2019, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ 1503 King Street - Workshop (Exploratory Food Court)

    Join us for an environmentally-themed Silent Auction to support Keep Charleston Beautiful, Charleston's anti-litter and beautification organization! Stop by for happy hour or stay for dinner. Enjoy food from Workshop or drinks from Edmund's Oast Brewing, and make sure to swing by our tables in the courtyard to place a bid on one of our enticing auction items. Live music from 5-8! You don't have to remain present to win. We hope to see you there!

  2. Yoga In The Park: Fundraiser

    Join us for Yoga In The Park on Saturday June 22nd. Charleston Power Yoga will be hosting two 45 minute yoga classes at the Hampton Park Gazebo. Proceeds will support Keep Charleston Beautiful's litter cleanup and reduction efforts Clean Juice Charleston will be providing juice samples and tastings in between classes, and our event will conclude with a raffle giveaway (both included with ticket price!   3. Green Team - Volunteer Opportunity

    June 22, 2019, 5:30 PM - 9:15 PM @ Wadmalaw Island

    Lowcountry Land Trust is hosting a Farm To Table event on June 22nd. We are looking for volunteers to help us staff a "Green Team" for the event. Volunteers will be responsible for helping guests sort their trash into composting, recycling, and landfill receptacles. Volunteers will also help with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of the waste receptacles throughout the event.

  1. West Ashley Farmers Market

    June 19, 2019, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Ackerman

    The WAFM is produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in cooperation with the City of Charleston Parks Department. The OCA has a long history of producing the highly successful Charleston Farmers Market. The WAFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of local farmers and growers and features fresh seasonal produce, as well as sweet and savory foods from area vendors who source ingredients from nearby farms. The WAFM will build upon the success of the CFM by expanding access to local fresh food, supporting the local economy and local agriculture, providing a civic gathering place and opportunities for community engagement. A curated program of live entertainment and family-friendly activities will enhance the farmers’ market experience. Addressing one of the key strategies in the City of Charleston’s 2014 West Ashley Strategic Plan, the WAFM will help create community partnerships and reactivate civic spaces.

    Founded by Mayor Joe Riley in 1988 with the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service, the CFM is produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with the City of Charleston Parks Department and Special Events Committee. Located in historic Marion Square, the CFM has been ranked by Travel and Leisure magazine as one of the top 10 farmers markets in the nation and the City Paper's annual "Best Of" edition has proclaimed the CFM as "Best Outdoor Event" and/or "Best Attraction" for five years running. The CFM is open each Saturday, from April through November, 8:00am to 2:00pm with select Sundays and adjusted hours during the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and Saturdays and Sundays during Holiday Magic in December. Attracting locals and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.
