  1. Green Team: Volunteer Opportunity (CPC Sunday Brunch)

    Charleston Parks Conservancy is hosting a Sunday Brunch event on October 20th. We are looking for volunteers to help us staff a "Green Team" for the event. Volunteers will be responsible for helping guests sort their trash into composting, recycling, and landfill receptacles. Volunteers will also help with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of the waste receptacles throughout the event. Volunteers get to enjoy live music, and can take breaks to buy beverages or food from the food trucks.

    Edisto Island Open Land Trust is hosting their 25th Anniversary and annual Oyster Roast on October 27th. We are looking for volunteers to help us staff a "Green Team" for the event. Volunteers will be responsible for helping guests sort their trash into composting, recycling, and landfill receptacles. Volunteers will also help with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of the waste receptacles throughout the event. Volunteers get to enjoy live music and the fun of educating the community about the benefits of composting and reducing landfill waste.
