Facilities

Lenevar Park, located in West Ashley, is a neighborhood park.  It has four tennis courts, two age-appropriate playgrounds, a baseball/softball field, two half basketball courts and a playground building. The walking trail, which circles the outer perimeter of the park, is a great place to jog, exercise, or walk the dog. This park also has a off-leash dog area.

Playground Staffed Hours: April-May & September-October, Monday-Friday 4-7 p.m.; November-March, Monday-Friday 3:30-6 p.m., Saturday Noon-5 p.m.

Restrooms are usually available during staffed hours.

Pumpkin Walk & Fall Festival
Come out to Lenevar Park on Friday, October 19 from 6pm-8pm for our first Pumpkin Walk & Fall Festival in the park! There will be uniquely designed and painted pumpkins along the walking path in the park carved by the local neighborhood. Jump castles, fall games, arts and crafts and other activities will be there to make it a fun event for everyone! Food trucks will be available for purchase. This event is free to everyone. It is co-sponsored with the Oldtowne-Heathwood Neighborhood Association. 

On Thursday, October 11 at 4pm at the Lenevar Playground park house, we will be decorating and carving pumpkins for the event. Please bring your own pumpkin. Materials to carve and decorate will be provided.
