[ARCHIVED] City of Charleston Accepting Annual Holiday Parade Applications

The city of Charleston is accepting applications for participation in the annual Holiday Parade through 5 p.m. on Friday, November 1st, 2019. The Holiday Parade will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2019, beginning at 3 p.m.

Those interested in applying can find additional information at: https://www.charleston-sc.gov/1510/Holiday-Parade. Selected participants will be notified and receive parade information packets beginning Saturday, November 9th.

The parade will begin on Broad Street near Colonial Lake and will continue up Broad Street to Meeting Street, where it will turn and travel north on Meeting Street before dispersing on Calhoun Street near Marion Square.

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow the Holiday Parade in Marion Square.
