The city of Charleston Business Services Division will host its first New Business Open House for new and potential business owners on Friday, November 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the First Floor Public Meeting Room at the Gaillard Center (2 George Street).
These events, which will be held each month, are a chance for local entrepreneurs to connect with representatives from various city departments to discuss regulations, available services, and the overall new-business process. Information on programs offered by the city and outside organizations designed to help new businesses succeed will also be available.
Business Services Manager Jordan Lanier said, “These open house-style events will allow us to connect with local entrepreneurs more effectively and ensure that they have the information and the tools they need to thrive as members of our business community. By holding these sessions monthly, we hope to maintain this line of communication and collaboration with those doing business in Charleston.”
This series is open to the public. No registration is required.
