On May 5, from 4-6pm, the Charleston Parks Conservancy will be hosting a grand re-opening of the newly renovated McMahon Playground at Hampton Park. Mayor Tecklenburg will be on hand for a ribbon-cutting at 4:30 and community members will be gathering to celebrate in the park with refreshments. D'Allesandro's Pizza, King of Pops - Charleston, Chick's Fry House, Caviar & Bananas,The Park Cafe, and JB's Sweet Shop & Catering will provide refreshments.
