  1. **Cancelled** Charleston Farmers Market - Special Holiday Hours

    December 9, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Marion Square

    Founded by Mayor Joe Riley in 1989, and the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service, the Charleston Farmers Market (CFM) is produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, in cooperation with the City of Charleston Parks Department and Special Events Committee. The CFM is open each Saturday, from April through November, 8:00am to 2:00pm with select Sundays and adjusted hours during the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and Saturdays and Sundays during Holiday Magic in December. Attracting locals and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.

  2. Chanukah in the Square **New location due to forecasted weather conditions **

    December 9, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

    A free, festive party for everyone; featuring music, dancing, and the lighting of the nine foot Menorah by Charleston's Holocaust survivors. Vistors can enjoy crafts and treats, including latkes and other traditional Chanukah foods. Presented in partnership with the Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies program at the College of Charleston and Chabad of the Lowcountry.
