On Friday May 26, 2023, the City of Charleston and Spoleto Festival USA kick-off the 2023 festival with a press conference outside of Charleston City Hall. Event is open and free to the public. Road closures at Meeting Street & Broad Street and Broad Street & Church Street begin at 8:00 a.m. Road closures at Broad & King, Meeting & Queen, Meeting & Tradd, and Meeting & Chalmers streets begin at 11:45 a.m.
