Setup for the event will take place from 11:30-1:00. Following setup, volunteers can take a break. Periodically during the event, volunteers will check waste stations throughout the event area, and replace bags as needed. The event concludes at 4:00pm, and breakdown of the waste receptacles will take place from 4:00-4:30.

First Day Festival Green Team

Green Team volunteers are needed to help setup, breakdown, and manage waste stations during the First Day Festival. The park space already has a good amount of trash receptacles, but volunteers will help set up additional recycling receptacles, and possibly composting receptacles as well. The Parks Dept staff will help monitor trash cans, but Green Team volunteers will help with recycling and cardboard. This will include transporting full bags of recycling and cardboard to the recycling dumpsters, and replacing bags as needed in receptacles.
