Busy Bees

Bees are very important creatures and run a very intricate lifestyle. Visit us at Tiedemann Park Nature Center to learn more about these fascinating animals. Participants will role-play different jobs by different bees, make a craft and learn why bees are so important.

Spring Break & Summer Camps

Nuts About Nature Spring Break Camp

Registration opens on February 10 at 9:00 am!

The Nuts About Nature camp provides an excellent educational experience for your kids over spring break. Each day, we will cover a different environmental topic. Kids will participate in arts and crafts, field trips, recreational time, and other activities! 

Pre-register for early drop-off (7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.) and late pick-up (3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) for $50 per week per child. If your child is not pre-registered, the cost will be $15 per day per child. 

Will accept applications until filled.

Nuts About Nature Summer Camp

This is a lottery-based camp! 

Registration: February 18-March 4 at 12:00 p.m.
Lottery Drawings: March 6

With a different environmental topic covered each week, this camp provides an educational experience for your kids with craft time, field trips, recreational time, and other activities.
