District One Councilmember

Marie Delcioppo

Serving as Councilmember for District One is Marie Delcioppo, who was elected in November 2019. She is a Strategic Marketing Consultant, specializing in the health and wellness, real estate development, hospitality, and financial industries. With her passion for fitness, Delcioppo is also a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer. Delcioppo is the proud mother to one daughter and is a strong advocate for children, especially in the areas of adoption and foster parenting. A longtime Charlestonian, Delcioppo graduated from Bishop England High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communication from the University of Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude.
