Customer Access Portal (CAP)

Please note that you are only able to apply for  Single Family New Construction and Short Term Rental at this time.

To register, complete the authorization form. When completed, you will be redirected to the CAP Registration page. 

The City of Charleston's Customer Access Portal (CAP) enables citizens to:
  • Submit and pay for permits
  • Renew business licenses
  • Schedule inspections
  • Check for code violations 

Project/permits which were initiated in BluePrince will remain in BluePrince until they are complete; new projects/permits will be created in EnerGov.
